I almost fell out of my chair as I got near the bottom: "The current Liberal "auto policy" that Emerson speaks of looks like this: an auto company can hire a former (Liberal) cabinet minister inside the two-year ethics "cooling off" period, waiver from the Liberal-appointed ethics commissioner in hand, to lobby the Liberal government for a Technology Canada grant. TPC is currently under a full audit for illegally paying millions in commissions to lobbyists for securing these grants. Sound familiar?" Must be nice to have friends in ~~low~~ high places.
