A belated Happy New Year to all
(en francais)
My New Years has just ended, and I can breath a huge sigh of relief. Crazy season is done for another year. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but it's a very stressful time of year for us business-wise.
I apologize to all who have emailed or called over the last several days. I recently experienced some personal and business challenges that severely curtailed my blogging and politics. I will be spending today and tomorrow catching up.
Likewise to all those who have sent entries recently for the BBS Political Multimedia contest. I will be posting your submissions over the next few days, along with several that I found over the holidays.
Blogging and politics will resume with a vengeance over the next little while. Related to that will be some housekeeping here at BBS. An hour surfing at my mothers on dial-up reminded me that I have some serious cleaning up to do with the blog.
Lastly I would like to thank a few people who have added a great deal to my blogging experience since I started this summer.
First off are Stephen Taylor and Craig Smith. Without their leadership, most of us would be lucky to have 20 or 30 readers.
Andrew @ Bound By Gravity was the first to link to one of my posts and was kind enough to add the HAH! List to his sidebar. His Canconv has been a fantastic addition to the blogosphere in Canada.
Brent Colbert helped a then Photoshop challenged individual by designing the first logo for the BT Site of the Week and has since helped by promoting and visiting many of each weeks winners.
Rite Turn Only was kind enough to give me the current template I'm using. My apologies to him for hacking it up and slowing it down. Please see above. :)
Blogette - to the lady with one of the more unique blogging styles on the roll, she makes me laugh. That is truly a blessed thing on many a day.
Liberty is Good, and some of her friends have been instrumental in helping teach an old dog some new thinking. While there's no danger of me running out tomorrow and becoming a full-fledged Libertarian, I do think about many thing with new perspective. Hell - I've even been thinking about attending the LSS next summer.
Wonder Woman - what can I say? When she's big and famous I hope she remembers all us little guys!
Rick, who has helped restore my faith in politicians and is going to show people just what can be accomplished with hard work.
Last but not least, my business partner and friend. He's Greek, I'm Irish. We're both stubborn, opinionated and stuck on the concept of truth, duty and honour. Thanks for a hell of a year. (As masochist as that sounds, I really do mean that in a good way!)
Best wishes for all in 2006
