All hope is not lost
The accusations and arguments over the fiscal imbalance have reached the point where it's just about impossible to separate fact from rhetoric, policy from posturing.
So here are a few touchstones you might want to bear in mind, as we stagger through the coming months.
1. Stephen Harper is a pragmatist, but not a hypocrite.
2. The fiscal imbalance cannot be resolved through equalization alone.
