Liberal flu

First the campaign was starting to smell, now it's just plain sick. I hope someone has the crash cart ready for when the call Code Blue
A heartbeat too late

VICTORIA -- The meticulously planned photo-op at the University of Victoria medical school was intended to provide some cute television footage for the Liberals' big campaign announcement on health care.
As the cameras rolled, Paul Martin donned a stethoscope, placed it on a student's arm, but had trouble finding a pulse.
It was an apt metaphor for the Liberals' latest prescription for medicare, if not their ailing campaign.
As polls indicate Martin's re-election bid is growing more sickly by the day, the prime minister promised a Liberal government would inject another $845 million into some mostly warmed-over health initiatives.
Definite turn in some of the media coverage. A real test will be today and the Liberals 'big' education announcement. They've already pissed off the media following the tour by leaking the policy. Will the Liberal coverage continue to head south or can they stop the bleeding?
